Graphic design of Four Roses for Lucienne—Roland Topor’s short story collection. Topor's texts are filled with surrealism, grotesque and black humor. Originally, a small edition has received the form of an absurdly thick picture book, in which the stories mix with hundreds of original illustrations and photos into an explosive cocktail of meanings and irony.
The project was made as part of my master diploma work in Book Design Studio of prof. Maciej Buszewicz and Daniel Mizieliński in the Graphic Art Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
To my mother's delight the project was honored with the Rector's Award.
